Yesterday afternoon while Edward and I were on the way to soccer training Edward spotted an echidna near our front letter box. There are some nests of ants in that area and it was having a feast. I've never seen one in an urban setting before and this is only the second one I've seen outside a zoo or wildlife park.

Well done spotting him! I've never seen one in the wild, and even at Taronga they're usually hiding during the day.
